Friday Favorites

Today I'm linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals, Erika at A Little Bit of Everything, and Narci at Grace and Love to share my Friday Favorites.

1) IT'S FRIDAY

My first favorite is pretty clear. It's Friday and it couldn't have come any sooner. I'm so ready for this weekend. Saturday morning I'm meeting one of my good friends Ashley for coffee. We haven't seen each other in a while so I'm super excited to catch up. Also on Saturday Seth and I are going on a double date with my sister Amanda and her husband Brian. We are going to go to a comedy club which should be lots of fun! Over all I'm really excited for this weekend!

2) I'M GOING ON SPRING BREAK!

If you read my post yesterday you saw that I was waiting to hear if I can get off work to go to Florida with 2 awesome girls Maddie and Taylor. Well the news is in and I'M GOING! I have not been this excited about anything in a long time! SPRING BREAK HERE WE COME! (apologies for all the exclamation marks, its truly how I'm feeling right now ;)).

Thankful Thursday

It's time again for our weekly series of Thankful Thursday. I'm loving this series that my bestie Maddie and I started because it forces me to focus on being thankful for all the wonderful things that I have. We would love for you to join us! So please grab our graphic and link-up.

1) Possible Vacation!

I am BEYOND thankful that Maddie asked me to go to Florida with her and her friend Taylor! I will be even more thankful if I can get off work so I can go! I should find out either today (cross your fingers) or tomorrow.   I may have to cry myself to sleep if I can't go, but I'm very hopeful that I will be there. So hopeful that I already bought a new swimsuit, 2 pair of shorts, and 2 new tops. My online shopping got the best of me ;) Regardless of whether or not I can go I'm thankful for all the spring dreaming it has caused me to have.

2) Friends

Last Saturday Seth and I were able to have over a group of our closest friends. I'm so thankful that they were able to be there whether they were traveling from Chicago, Tennessee, or just down the road we are so thankful to be able to have them around.

Okay so that's not us, but I'm also Thankful that Friends is on Netlflix ;)

3) Boomer Survived Meeting a Dog

I'm truly thankful Boomer survived the weekend. Seth's friend Jonathan was visiting this past weekend and brought his lab Gunner. For Boomer it was hatred at first sight. She was so stressed and on edge all weekend. She was very thankful when Sunday came around and she owned the house again.
What we wanted to happen.
What really happened.

Thank you all so much for stopping by! Hope you have a truly blessed Thursday :)

Favorite Things At Target

Today I'm linking up with two of my favorite bloggers Erika and Andrea to talk about something almost everyone can relate to, and that is Favorite things at Target!

Sadly there isn't a Target in my hometown, but I can guarantee you whenever I'm in the vicinity I'm there. I'm also pretty addicted to online shopping and Target is ALWAYS one of my go to stops. So here it is just a small list of some of my favorite things to get at Target

1) Swimsuits

If you read my post from Friday you saw some of my favorite swimsuits for this season, over half of them came right from the Target website.

Purchase here.

This is the swimsuit top I ended up ordering last week and I can't wait to get it! The only bummer is now they are doing buy one get one 50% off of women's swim wear so if are looking you should definitely check it out here.

2) Cosmetics

I have a slight obsession with purchasing new make up, Target does not help with that obsession. One of my other obsessions is getting things for a great price. So combine those two things and now I have a cart full of products. My favorite brand of make up to buy from Target is E.L.F. It is crazy cheap and also crazy good make up. Here are a few of my favorite products available at Target.

$3.00

I am obsessed with this eyeliner! It is so cheap and It doesn't smear. It's perfect if you like something a little darker then pencil liner, but aren't quite sure if you are ready for liquid yet.

$3.00
First of all yes that is correct you can get tinted moisturizer for only 3 bucks! This product is great because it offers great coverage and really helps even your skin tone while still moisturizing. Also it has SPF so you also get protection from the sun.

$3.00
This is my absolute favorite Nude lip balm that I have. It has a matte finish so I will sometimes put a little clear gloss over it, but the color is definitely on point! I think nude lips always look super classy.

V-necks

Seth is VERY boring in what clothing he prefers to wear and one of his staples is a colored v-neck t-shirt. I can always count on Target to carry shirts that fit his description.

Purchase here.
They come in a wide variety of colors and for only $12.99 you might as well stock up!

Lets be honesty we can all spend A LOT of time shopping at Target and find all kinds of wonderful deals. These are just a few of my favorites, but there are many more. Right now Target has free shipping for orders over $25 so if you are an online shopping addict you may want to check that out here.

Friday Favorites - Swim Suit Motivation

Happy Friday! Today I'm linking up with three of my very favorite bloggers Erika at A Little Bit of Everything,  Andrea at Momfessionals, and Narci at Grace and Love to share some of my Friday Favorites.

If you are anything like me, right now you have all but given up on your fitness goals you started at the beginning of the year, but I'm here to help with some motivation. This week I started swim suit shopping. I know it seems early, but if I get it and try it on I think it will help motivate me to work out and eat better so I can look better (shallow? maybe!). So today I'm sharing some of my favorite swim suits I have seen while shopping. Enjoy :)

Purchase top here.
I love how flowy this top is! It offers more full coverage, but still is really fun. It comes in 6 different colors and patterns. This top is currently in my shopping cart!

Purchase here.
For girls who can pull it off, Bandeau tops are so cute! You can get this particular top in 8 different colors and patterns.

Purchase here.
If you are looking for something a little less revealing this one-piece might be for you. It comes in 7 different colors and they are all adorable.

Purchase here.
Vintage swimsuits are so in right now! I think this is so adorable, but I would definitely have to try it on to see if it is for me. So Chic!

Purchase here.
In the description this suit says it will make you look 7 lbs thinner in seconds! Well that sold it for me right there! So cute and very slimming.

Hope you guys found something that you like! Or at least I hope you found some motivation like I did. Those warm summer months will be here before we know it. Have the greatest weekend.

Snack Time: Easy Pizza Roll Ups

This is seriously one of the easiest snacks you can make AND they are so good! The standard recipe only takes 3 ingredients: Crescent rolls, Mozzarella string cheese, and Pizza sauce, but you can really add anything in them that you would want on a pizza. (this recipe makes 8 roll ups)

Ingredients:
1 (8-oz) can crescent rolls
4 Individually wrapped Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks
Pizza sauce, heated, for dipping

Directions:

1. Preheat over to 375°
2. Separate the dough into 8 triangles
3. Cut each Mozzarella cheese stick in half. (each roll up will have half a cheese stick)
4. Starting on the larger end of the triangle place the half cheese stick.
*** At this point you can add any other topping you think would be delicious***
5. Roll up the ingredients like you wold a crescent roll.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
7. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping

Hope you enjoy this super easy snack! I would love to hear how they turned out with other ingredients added in. Thanks for reading :)

Friday Favorites

Lovely Ladies (and gentleman) its F-R-I-D-A-Y! Today I'm linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals, Erika at A Little Bit of Everything, and Narci at Grace and Love to share my Friday Favorites. :)

1) My Favorite Quote of The Week

On Sunday morning Seth got up and said he was going to get us Mcdonalds for breakfast before church. He said do you want your usual, Bacon egg and cheese bagel with a large diet Dr Pepper? My reply was "True love is knowing each others fast food orders." Yes I'm favoring my own quote, but I liked it ;) For the record on Wednesday Seth asked if I would pick up Taco Bell for lunch and he said he wanted his usual. Which I knew meant a #10 with soft tacos and a large Mtn Dew. Our love must be true ;)

2) Mango Sorbet

This stuff is sensational! Like really I could have eaten it all in one sitting. It's so creamy and refreshing, it reminded me of something I would get from Cold Stone Creamery.  If you like delicious things then you just must try this ;)

3) Thankful Thursday

The new link up that my Bestie Maddie and I started a few weeks ago is definitely one of my favorite things. It's a weekly reminder to seek out the things in life that you have to be thankful for. We would love for you to join us every Thursday and share what you are most thankful for.

4) Friends being on Netflix

All 10 seasons of Friends are now streaming on Netflix and it is amazing! Seth and I started from the beginning just in the past couple weeks and I'm obsessed all over again. I have always loved Friends and have probably watched the entire series 4 or 5 times completely through, but it NEVER gets old. If anything it gets even more funny every time I watch it. Seriously people if you haven't watched Friends you have to try! The only way you won't like it is if you hate laughter and having a good time :P

5) 3 Day Weekends

I LOVE 3 day weekends! I'm so very excited that Monday is President's Day, which means I get the day off. One of my favorite things about working at a Credit Union is getting off for all National Holidays!

Hope you all have the greatest weekend! Be blessed :)

Thankful Thursday

TGIT! Thank God it's Thursday! and with Thursday means another installment of Thankful Thursday. Grab the graphic and link up with me or Maddie or both of us and share what you are thankful for!

1) Early Valentine's Day Gifts

Seth and I are terrible about keeping secrets so when it comes to gifts it is rare that we hold out on telling each other about them until we give them. Earlier this week Seth told me what he got me for Valentine's Day and I'm so thankful for how thoughtful he is. He got us copies of the books For Men Only and For Women Only. These are books that were written to help people understand how the other sex thinks and responds to certain situations. (to read more about these books or to purchase them you can click on the images below)

Our plan is that I will read For Men Only first and underline things that apply to me and write any notes I have in the margins and vice-versa for Seth. That way when we read the books we will have even more of an insight on the thoughts and feelings of each other. I'm so excited and thankful that we are going to be going through these books together.

2) Free Food!

In my hometown of Columbia City, IN there is a Marcos Pizza opening up this Sunday. On Tuesday they came in to my place of work and asked if we would be willing to be one of their guinea pigs on Friday so the employees can have a practice run taking orders, making food, and doing deliveries. The best part of it all is that its absolutely free to us! I'm thankful for a new Pizza place in town and very thankful to get to try it out for FREE.

3)  Spending Time With My Family

I'm so thankful to have such a close knit family! I loved having almost all of my family under the same roof last Saturday for my nephew's birthday party. To see pictures from his Monster Party go here.  Just wish my sister Alyssa and her husband Bradley could have been there then it would have been perfect!

4) Blogging

I am so thankful that I have started this blog. Even if no one reads it, it is a great way to document my life and vent when I need to. Big shout out to Maddie for getting me hooked ;)

check out her blog here.

I'm really just thankful for the life that I have. Every day is a blessing and a gift. Hope you all take the time to reflect on what you are thankful for. Be blessed!
