Easy Baked Buffalo Wings

Seth is a huge fan of anything buffalo flavored and especially loves buffalo wings.Whenever we buy frozen wings from the store we are always disappointed with the amount of fat on each wing. Thus I began the search for a wings recipe that isn't fried, and that doesn't take a lot of time and effort. Using pinterest of  course I found this great recipe for wings. You can find the original recipe here.

Here is what you will need:

  • 1 lb Chicken Wings
  • 1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flake
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Hot Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Margarine
Directions:

  1. Fill a large pot half way with water. Add the chicken, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt to the water
  2. Bring the water and chicken mixture to a boil, and then let boil for 15 minute.
  3. Coat an oven safe dish with cooking spray, and then transfer the wings into the dish.
  4. Bake wings on broil for 15 minutes on each side. (if you enjoy crispier wings you can adjust the broil time accordingly)
  5. While wings are baking, combine hot sauce and margarine in a microwave safe bowl. Cook in microwave for 2 minutes or until melted.
  6. When wings are down coat them with the sauce and enjoy!!
Seth and I couldn't get enough of these wings! They were tender and juicy, yet still crispy on the outside. Enjoy!

Meet Felix!

A week ago Seth and I adopted yet another fur baby! We have a kitty obsession and I'm okay with that. Today I wanted to introduce to Felix to all of my readers. Warning.. He's very adorable.

He was a little Timid at first

he's such a tiny little baby

He is a very high energy kitten, which we love! He loves chasing Boomer around the house, playing with his toys, and trying to eat ANY people food he can get his paws on. We love our new furbaby and couldn't have asked for a more perfect addition to our family :)

Bachelorette Party Weekend- Take 2

So last weekend was the second weekend in a row that I had a Bachelorette Party. This past weekend was my lovely best friend, Maddie's, bridal shower/bachelorette party. We started out the day with a delicious bridal shower brunch. It was bee themed and all the decorations were absolutely adorable! Not to mention the bride to be was looking absolutely gorgeous.

Both parties took place at Maddie's Aunts house and after the shower was over all of us girls and changed into our swim suits for an afternoon of relaxation!

The pool was gorgeous!
Macie and Taylor planned some fun games to keep us all very entertained.

Bra Pong!

Guess who brought which panties
After pool time we headed to our hotel to get ready for dinner and our night out.

It was such a fabulous night of reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. I seriously cannot wait until October when Maddie and David tie the knot!

Bachelorette Weekend Recap

This past weekend was my bestie Laken's Bachelorette Party. Saturday morning Stacie  and I headed towards Indy to join in all of the festivities. First stop was Chrome Fitness for Private Pole Dancing lessons.

It was SO much fun!  Although our routines looked nothing like the instructors we had a great time trying. Not to mention it was a killer work out, days later my arms still hurt.

After that we headed back to out hotel, Le Meridian, to give Laken her gifts and get ready for dinner.

Read all about the Bachelorette Basket here.

After gifts we all split up in our rooms to get ready for the night out. Our hotel room was fabulous and we spent a little time just relaxing under the covers of our big comfy beds.

The whole group ready for dinner
We had dinner at Mesh on Mass.

After dinner a hand full of us headed out in down town Indy. We had a blast and still managed to be in bed by 12:30 a.m.

Me and the Bride to Be!
The next morning we had brunch at Cafe Patachou and it was delicious.

Here are some of Laken's Instagram pictures from the night, nothing quite like seeing the party from the Bachelorette's perspective.

It was a great weekend with a lot of wonderful ladies. Hope you are all having a great week.

DIY Bachelorette Gift Basket + Gift Bag Idea

This weekend I spent in Indy celebrating one of my very best friend, Laken's, bachelorette party. Later this week I will share details on our adventures, but today I wanted to share the gift basket and Bag I put together for Miss Laken.

This is the gift basket I put together for Laken. You could really get creative and personalize it any way that you want. Here is a closer look of what I put in mine.

Pregnancy Test: "Just In Case"
Energy Drink: "Just In Case You Need Extra Energy"
Pull and Peel Twizzlers: "Diy Edible Undies"
Chocolate and Strawberry Syrups: "To Make Any Task A Treat"

For the labels I made I just took mini Canvases, painted them gold, and then hand wrote the labels. You could really do that part any way you like too!

Decorating the bag that you put the soon to be bride's lingerie in is a fun and easy way to add a little extra something to your gift. All it takes are 2 bows and a cute pair of panties and you're all done!

It was so fun watching Laken open up the gifts that I gave her! (also a little game see if you can find my kitty Boomer is 2 of the 3 pictures LOL) Hope you all had as great of a weekend as I did!

Love Is In The Air

Hello lovelies! I know I've been off my blogging game lately, and for that I am truly sorry. What I am more sorry for is that I have waited so long to share that yet another one of my very best friends is engaged!

Stacie and the love of her life Kyle got engaged and are getting married next June! I seriously could not be happier for them. Stacie and I have been besties for as long as I remember so I warn you there are about to be a lot of pictures.

Through High School:

One of my favorite things about Stace is that it doesn't matter what we are doing we always have a great time. Whether it be dressing up in ridiculous outfits, having a brownie batter fight, or just heading out to a high school football game it's always a blast.

Big Life Events:

Prom

Graduation

My wedding festivities.

Stacie was my MOH in my wedding.

She also was Seth and I's realtor to purchase our first home :)

I can't wait to be a bridesmaid for Stacie's big day!

Even After High School We are Still so Close:

I have been blessed with the greatest friends a girl could ask for, and knowing that within the next year 3 of them will be married is unbelievable. This weekend I will be traveling to Indy for Laken's Bachelorette party and then the weekend after that I will be attending Maddie's Bridal shower and Bachelorette Party. Bring on the wedding festivities!!!
