10 Day Sugar Detox

Any one who knows me well knows that I am not a health nut; I drink pop, I love candy, I crave ice cream, and I'm addicted to salt and vinegar chips. So when my sister asked me to do a 10 day sugar detox with her everything in me wanted to say "no thanks I'm perfectly happy just the way I am". After doing some research on how sugar addictions can have so many negative effects on your life I decided I owe it to myself to give it a try. Here are the guidelines for the specific sugar detox we are starting tomorrow.

Today I  prepped a lot of my food to prepare for the week, they say the first 2-3 days are the hardest.

Wish me luck!!!

Friday Favorites

Happy Fridayyy!!! Today I'm linking up with 3 of my favorite blogs to share some of my Friday favorites. I'm not afraid to admit that one of my favorite things to do is eat! So today I'm choosing to follow that train of thought and share one of my favorite recipes I've made for dinner recently.

Grocery List:

  • Flatbread- I used Naan (got it from Aldi's!)
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic
  • Chicken Breast - one large breast made two flatbreads
  • Buffalo sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Ranch - Optional

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven to 425 DegreesSpread Olive oil and garlic on flatbread
  2. Put in the oven for 5 minutes
  3.  Cube Chicken and cook in skillet (could also use leftover chicken cubed or shredded)
  4. Take out flatbread and spread Buffalo sauce all over flatbread
  5. add chicken and Mozzarella cheese
  6. bake for an additional 10 minutes
  7. Add more buffalo sauce and ranch dressing -optional

It was so quick and easy and Seth and I both loved it! So it's a win, win, win! Have a fabulous weekend loves :)
