Seth is a huge fan of anything buffalo flavored and especially loves buffalo wings.Whenever we buy frozen wings from the store we are always disappointed with the amount of fat on each wing. Thus I began the search for a wings recipe that isn't fried, and that doesn't take a lot of time and effort. Using pinterest of course I found this great recipe for wings. You can find the original recipe here.
Here is what you will need:
- 1 lb Chicken Wings
- 1 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flake
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Hot Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Margarine
Directions:
- Fill a large pot half way with water. Add the chicken, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt to the water
- Bring the water and chicken mixture to a boil, and then let boil for 15 minute.
- Coat an oven safe dish with cooking spray, and then transfer the wings into the dish.
- Bake wings on broil for 15 minutes on each side. (if you enjoy crispier wings you can adjust the broil time accordingly)
- While wings are baking, combine hot sauce and margarine in a microwave safe bowl. Cook in microwave for 2 minutes or until melted.
- When wings are down coat them with the sauce and enjoy!!
Seth and I couldn't get enough of these wings! They were tender and juicy, yet still crispy on the outside. Enjoy!
